The HR Generalist will be supporting the business leaders and managers based at our production site in Llantrisant and client sites in Stevenage and Ware – approximately 200 employees.

You will be supporting the development of solutions and concepts in response to current and future challenges of their people agenda.

You will be involved in overseeing policies and programs encompassing all areas of human resources; these include employment, compensation and benefits as well as organizational and employee development.

This is a 12-month maternity cover.  You will be based at home but expected to visit sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business leaders and managers across all organizational levels on annual people plans, ranging from job levelling, talent management, performance improvement initiatives, retention management to succession planning

  • Develop and implement HR initiatives in alignment with the business strategy for the assigned units and the overall PerkinElmer and EMEA HR goals

  • Implement change management initiatives to advance organizational performance within a global matrixed environment

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers at all levels

  • Effectively resolve employee relations issues within all legal and compliance guidelines and statutes, as well as PerkinElmer Leadership Values

  • Together with the HR Service Team deliver on the foundational HR activities and keep our various offices compliant with their respective legal environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field, CIPD qualification desired

  • Minimum 4 years HR experience in an international setting

  • Strong employment law acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships through all levels of the organization including executives, business partners, line operations and peers, as well as experience operating in a global matrix environment

  • High energy individual willing to get involved in all aspects of HR that can drive organizational change, talent development and bottom line growth

  • Advanced knowledge of Ms Office for work purposes

  • Knowledge of previous people management system

  • Ability to travel to sites at Llantrisant, Stevenage and Ware on a regular basis.
