Location Tres Cantos, MadridES Job ID JR-035593 Our Customer Service team is responsible for maintaining a high standard, professional customer support used by customers throughout the region. In this role, the Customer Service Engineer will act as the face for the company, making sure our customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Main product groups that will be supported are our Materials Characterization portfolio (FT-IR, UV-Vis, POL, FL) ) and full product training will be given. We welcome applications from engineers with some field experience supporting customers or from lab scientists with experience of MatChar techniques looking for a career change. We would also consider recent graduates with relevant studies. The customer base in in the greater Madrid area, though ad hoc travel to other parts of Spain will also be required. This is a 6 month fixed term contract initially with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent contract Job Responsibilities: Performs Onsite service, carrying out repairs, maintenance and installation of instrumentation and their accessories. Provides onsite user training on defined product groups. Ensures accurate documentation is in place and of high quality. Qualifications and required experience: Relevant education or equivalent experience (e.g. Bachelor in Electronic Engineering, Materials Science) 3 years of experience in a Customer Service Environment, preferably with analytical instrument applications.
